How to set up call forwarding in Nextiva

Use Nextiva’s conditional call forwarding to route missed or busy calls to LeadTruffle.

📲 Recommended Nextiva Call Forwarding Types

  1. Call Forward When Unanswered

    Automatically forwards calls if you don’t pick up within a certain number of rings.

  2. Call Forward When Busy

    Forwards calls when you’re already on the line.

  3. Call Forward When Unreachable

    Sends calls to LeadTruffle if your phone is offline or has no signal.

🛠️ What to Do in LeadTruffle

  1. Go to AI Voice Answering or Missed Call Text-Back in your LeadTruffle dashboard

  2. Copy the dedicated LeadTruffle number assigned to your account

  3. Paste that number into each call forwarding field in Nextiva’s portal (based on the guide links above)

  • Enable all three forwarding types for best coverage.

  • After setup, make a test call to confirm that forwarding and AI text-back work correctly.

  • You can customize your voicemail greeting and AI response in LeadTruffle’s Missed Calls section .
