Overview
To ensure LeadTruffle can answer your missed calls and trigger AI follow-up, you’ll need to set up call forwarding from your Bell Mobility number to your LeadTruffle-assigned phone number.
Bell supports two types of call forwarding:
Forward All Calls (immediate)
Forward Calls You Don’t Answer (recommended for missed-call workflows)
⚠️ iPhone Users: Turn off Live Voicemail before enabling forwarding — this Apple feature can block conditional call forwarding and prevent LeadTruffle from receiving calls.
📞 Recommended: Forward Missed Calls Only (No-Answer Forwarding)
This is the ideal setup for LeadTruffle’s missed call text-back and AI voice answering.
Your phone will ring normally first. If you don’t answer, the call forwards to LeadTruffle.
To set up No-Answer Call Forwarding:
Open Settings on your phone.
Go to Call Settings or Calls (varies by device).
Select Call Forwarding.
Choose Forward when unanswered or Forward if no answer.
Enter your LeadTruffle phone number (full 10-digit or 11-digit format as required).
Save/activate.
Bell will send you a free confirmation text once forwarding is active.
Make a test call to confirm that unanswered calls route to LeadTruffle.
✅ Forward All Calls Immediately (Optional)
Use this if you want every call to go straight to LeadTruffle without ringing your phone first.
To set up Immediate Call Forwarding:
Open Settings.
Go to Call Settings > Call Forwarding.
Select Always forward or Forward all voice calls.
Enter your LeadTruffle number.
Save/activate.
You’ll receive a confirmation text from Bell when forwarding is active.
🛑 Note: This is not ideal if you still want to answer calls yourself — it sends every call to LeadTruffle instantly.
📱 iPhone Users – Turn Off Live Voicemail
Bell Mobility notes that Live Voicemail (an Apple feature) may block or override call forwarding.
To disable Live Voicemail:
Go to: Settings → Phone → Live Voicemail → Toggle Off
This ensures missed calls forward correctly to LeadTruffle.
💡 Additional Notes
Bell may charge $0.25/min for forwarded calls unless call forwarding is included in your plan.
Call forwarding may not work properly while outside Canada or when using Wi-Fi Calling.
Forwarding must be enabled per phone line — forwarding one line does not affect additional numbers.
You cannot forward calls to international numbers.
Always test after setup to ensure forwarding is working as expected.
