Overview
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to track revenue conversions inside LeadTruffle — so when a lead pays you (via QuickBooks, Stripe, Jobber, or another system), the payment data syncs directly into LeadTruffle. This allows you to view complete ROI and lead performance metrics.
Step 1: Set Up Your Zapier Account
Go to zapier.com and create an account.
You’ll need at least the Professional Plan since it includes Webhooks functionality.
Zapier allows LeadTruffle to connect with over 5,000 apps — including payment processors and CRMs.
Step 2: Ensure You’re Using the Latest LeadTruffle Zapier App
In your LeadTruffle account, navigate to Settings → Zapier & Webhooks.
Click Connect with Zapier.
Confirm that your Zapier app version is LeadTruffle 1.1.0.
If yours says 1.0.0, reconnect via the button above to upgrade automatically.
Step 3: Create a New Zap in Zapier
Click Create Zap in Zapier.
Trigger App: Choose your payment or CRM system — e.g., QuickBooks, Jobber, Stripe, or Housecall Pro.
In the trigger search, look for “Payment Received” or “Invoice Paid.”
Select the event, connect your account, and pull in a test record to confirm it’s working.
Step 4: Add LeadTruffle as the Action App
For your Action App, search for LeadTruffle (ensure version 1.1.0).
Choose the action “Upsert Lead Conversion.”
This tells LeadTruffle to update an existing lead with the new payment information.
Step 5: Map Your Data
When configuring the action:
Phone Number: Map the customer’s phone number from your payment system (e.g., “Customer Primary Phone”).
Revenue Amount: Map the payment amount or invoice total field.
Optional: You can also pass in data like lead source or notes if your CRM supports it.
Click Continue and Test your action to confirm data flows correctly.
Step 6: Verify in LeadTruffle
Go to Leads → Details for a contact that recently paid.
Scroll down — you should now see a Revenue Conversion entry with the correct amount logged.
Once this automation is live, LeadTruffle will automatically track revenue from all future payments linked to your leads.
Manual Option (Optional)
If you handle only a few high-value sales per month, you can also log conversions manually:
Open the lead inside LeadTruffle.
Click Log Conversion.
Enter the amount (e.g., “$20,000 Roofing Job”) and save.
Summary
By connecting LeadTruffle with Zapier, you can automatically sync payment events from your CRM or accounting software. This gives you a full picture of ROI — from lead capture to final payment — without manual tracking.
