Overview
LeadTruffle now enables intelligent SMS follow-ups that trigger automatically after an AI-handled call—based on what was discussed during the conversation.
These post-call messages help close the loop with leads and customers by providing timely next steps, links, or resources.
What You Can Do
You can configure up to five follow-up messages. Each one includes:
Trigger Context: Define when the message should be sent, based on what the caller said or needed.
Message Content: Write the SMS message that will be sent. This can include text, links, or contact info/
Common Use Cases
Generic Thank You: “Thanks for calling! Here’s a link to our website for more info: [website link]”
Rescheduling Needed: “Need to reschedule? You can pick a new time here: [calendar link]”
Billing Update: “To update your billing info, please visit: [billing portal link]”
Service Interest: “You mentioned [service name]—learn more here: [link to service page or video]”
Follow-Up Offers or Forms: Direct them to a lead form, coupon page, or next step in the funnel
Setup Instructions
Navigate to your dashboard and open AI Call Answering.
Scroll to SMS Follow-Up Settings
Locate the SMS Follow-Ups section.
Add a New Follow-Up
For each follow-up, define:
When to Send: Describe the conversation context or trigger (e.g., “Asked to reschedule”).
Message Content: Write your SMS. Include a link if needed.
Coming Soon! AI powered SMS threads. Soon, LeadTruffle’s AI will be able to continue conversations via SMS after the initial follow-up message is sent.
